Your power lies in who you are today!
Have you ever found yourself yearning for the body you had in your 20s, or longing for the life that seemed simpler back then? Maybe it’s scrolling through old photos and thinking, “If only I could go back.” While it’s natural to reminisce, trying to recreate the past can sometimes hold us back from embracing the wisdom and opportunities we have today.
Here’s the thing: our dreams, desires, and even our relationships evolve over time. What we wanted then may not even serve us now. Think about it, seriously, stop and think about it—would the younger you have the wisdom, resilience, and courage to navigate the life you’re living today? Most likely, not. There is power in growth, and the lessons we’ve learned along the way are priceless.
If we only knew then what we know now, how different might our choices have been? But instead of wishing for a rewind, we can honor the journey that has shaped us. Trying to get our bodies, our lifestyles, or even our relationships back to what they were can sometimes feel like hanging onto something stale, instead of creating space for something fresh and fulfilling.
Your body may not be the same, but it tells the story of your life. The stretch marks, the laugh lines, the scars—all signs of a life lived fully. And your relationships? Let’s not settle for the ones that no longer grow with us, just because they’ve been around a long time. Sometimes letting go is the ultimate act of self-love.
Our dreams today are richer, our desires more aligned with who we’ve become. By embracing the now and celebrating who we are, we make room for the best version of ourselves to flourish.
Reflection: What’s one thing you’re grateful for about the woman you are today? Let’s celebrate TODAY'S YOU, together.
